Employment:

Patient admission, staff employment, and internal activities of the care center are the same for everyone, without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, handicap, religion or political affiliation.
Nursing:
Our nursing department is coordinated by a registered nurse and staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by professional nurses, Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses.
Certified Nurse Aides and Certified Medication Aides round out our nursing staff. Each of these individuals has received at least 75 hours of certified nurse aide training, plus at least 12 hours annual continuing education.
Restorative Nursing:
The restorative nursing department is coordinated by a professional nurse. Trained restorative nurse aides assist the nurse in providing for our residents' rehabilitative needs.
Dietary:
Our dietary department is headed by a certified dietary manager. All of our cooks and dietary aides have been trained regarding safe food handling and sanitation, as well as managing modified diets. Westview has an agreement with a licensed registered dietitian to plan menus and assess each resident's individual nutritional needs.
Activities:
A certified activity coordinator plans for the residents' activity needs by looking at their past life activities, hobbies, and individual interests. She also works closely with community volunteers, girl scouts, and the local school to provide interaction between the residents and the community.
Social Worker:
The facility has a professional social worker on staff to help with issues related to resident finances, mental health, and other psycho-social needs.
Housekeeping/Laundry:
Westview provides daily housekeeping and laundry services. We take great pride in providing a safe, clean, attractive and pleasant home for our residents and staff.
Maintenance:
Most day-to-day maintenance issues are handled by our in-house maintenance personnel.
Westview is a 24 hour/7 day a week facility. We are dedicated to the concept of team work and cooperation among all disciplines. We value our employees and are always interested in finding quality staff.
